God sent down his thunderous call
reminded me of my great fall.

down from the clouds and on to his sorry self.
It burned his skin-
he was stuck in a city where a man couldn't find his peace/ have his peace.
A cloud blinds eyes,
it rose from the sewers where the shit it flows like wine.
And so we look
down on the fool in the middle of his setting life.
To learn one's place
is something most men will never grow up to face.
